In April 2018, NEXTDC announced plans to build a third Sydney data centre.
Continuing our commitment to maximising uptime while minimising energy consumption, S3 will showcase the latest in Uptime Institute Tier IV design and target a level of energy efficiency that has never been achieved in Australia before. It will connect seamlessly to the existing NEXTDC data centre footprint, ensuring our customers reap the benefits, accessing the one locally available ecosystem
S3 is expected to be located 5km outside the CBD and will offer 80MW of total IT capacity at full fit-out.
